“Ballet-ex” is a dance company directed by choreographer-dancer Luisa Signorelli The group, founded in 2007, can already boast victory at the International dance Competition in Athens (July 2008) and participation in numerous events of national importance- A Guest appearance on july 2008 at pescara dance festival, and august 2008 at “Dance inside” in Riccione and “Danza senza spazi” in Rome. Among the finalists at the competition “Danz’è “ of the festival Oriente – Occidente (Rovereto) It belongs to the review for emerging choreographers “E –novaction” organized by Mediascena Europa. In December 2008 the show “Destinations”, on music of Arvo Part, was on tour in trentino within the “Circuito danza del trentino – indanza” – On 20 February 2009 , it was a guest at “Danza Infiera” In March 2009, the company created the work “Duel” based on music by Schubert and performed in Reggio Emilia and Rome (May 2009). September 2009 was among the guests of the “Che danza vuoi?” at the teatro Greco in Rome. November 2009 participated in “Innovaction 2009”organized by MediaScenaEuropa – December 2009 was a finalist at the Sergei Diaghilev Competition of Choreographic Art, held in Lodz (Poland) – March 2010: presented the new production “Blue” in Emilia Romagna, April 2010: was a guest at the event “in dance Cariati (Cosenza) – May 2010, presented” Blue “at the Teatro Olimpico in Rome October 2010 was at the teatro Greco in Rome with the show “Blue” November 2010, presented “Blue” at the Theatre Cuminetti of Trento, in the “Circuito danza del trentino - trentinoindanza” and was a guest at “ MilanodanzaExpo – December 2010: : presented the new production:“Random, wandering warriors” in Rome and Caserta.
2011: Ballet-ex presented the new production "Exit" (Italy and Poland)
2012/13: Ballet-ex presented the new production "Password" and start to work at "Timeless"
2014: a new production "Migration" about the problem of people that must live theri country to make their life.

Ballet-ex stands out for its special work in highlighting the qualities and potential of male dance. Indeed the company is formed of male dancers with different talents who nevertheless mix and blend well together. The genre is aimed at Neo-classical – contemporary. With regard to dance teaching and video dance the company has had an important part to play, and has created several Videos of its repertory and also 5 important teaching Videos, which are now widely available in Italy and Europe. “Pas de deux lessons” is the first Video guide to a Pas de Deux lesson, and the “Classical Dance lessons on Video” is the first guide to a classical dance lesson on DVD which has Italian commentary. “Pointwork lessons on Video” is the first and only Video guide of this nature entirely in Italian, “Classical dance lessons on video for male dancers” “Classical dance for beginners”, "classical ballet for childrens", "Abc of classical ballet" and the last ""How to build a body of a classical dancer". Using the medium of Videos Ballet-ex aims to spread its message, and, whilst retaining a strong classical base is still aiming for an eloquent contemporary expression which is rich in its varied influences. Its main aim is to convey present-day and universal themes and ideas by seeking ever new directions rather then relying on standard repertoire. The company also seeks to involve other artists (musicians, painters and actors) and new technology, aiming to bring Italian dance forward into the 21st Century, with awareness of current events and the needs of the audience.
